If you are in retail and have to price items frequently, I want to share with you this awesome idea. A Kasey Creative customer shared an unique idea for a business card they had seen, one that doubles as a price tag. GENIUS! Check it out!

]]><![CDATA[This, That & The Other... ]]>Sat, 02 Mar 2013 23:45:35 GMThttp://www.kaseycreative.com/ramblin-from-a-southern-girl/this-that-the-otherIt has been so cool having Kasey Creative open - for a week now! Everyday I am humbled by a 'like' on Facebook, a 'favorite' on Etsy, and completely blown away when someone says "I've heard lots of good things about you. You have talent!" I know where that talent came from, and I'm so thankful He chose me to share it with others.

I've been able to work on all kinds of projects from one end of the spectrum to the other; children's party invitations and decor, business cards that double as price tag (genius!), and personalized notecards just to name a few. I have so much fun jumping for one project to the next and them being totally different - keeps me on my toes.

I am SO looking forward to this second week of Kasey Creative being open! Thank YOU for all your support and encouragement!]]><![CDATA[Turtle On A Fencepost...]]>Sun, 24 Feb 2013 03:25:50 GMThttp://www.kaseycreative.com/ramblin-from-a-southern-girl/turtle-on-a-fencepostThe great Little Jimmy Dickens once said, "If you see a turtle sitting on a fencepost, you know he had help getting there." The only reason I know about this quote is because Brad Paisley {my fave} quoted it once. That's what I feel like today - that turtle on the fencepost.

I officially opened Kasey Creative this morning at precisely 9:59am. Since then, 160 people have 'liked' my page. My goal for today? 30. Not joking.

I am completely humbled and filled with gratitude. Especially those who went out on a limb for me without me even asking them to - sharing and caring and showing me love... it means the world to me. Thank y'all for the encouragement and help. This has always been a little dream of mine and I am so excited to see the journey God allows me to take with it.

]]><![CDATA[Southern Style Hitchin']]>Sat, 23 Feb 2013 02:03:31 GMThttp://www.kaseycreative.com/ramblin-from-a-southern-girl/southern-style-hitchinThat's exactly how my husband, Ryan, and I got married. We got hitched.

When we sent our Save the Dates and Invitations out, people knew they were in for a good time. Down in Paris, Tennessee, we're all southern and halfway redneck whether we want to admit it or not, so a wedding in a barn sounds like a lot of fun to us. And it was.

I just listed the Letterpress Style Wedding Bundle - https://www.etsy.com/listing/124448959/letterpress-style-wedding-bundle. This is what ours looked like. If you are looking for a rustic, southern style invitation - look no further, y'all!
