Turtle On A Fencepost...

The great Little Jimmy Dickens once said, "If you see a turtle sitting on a fencepost, you know he had help getting there." The only reason I know about this quote is because Brad Paisley {my fave} quoted it once. That's what I feel like today - that turtle on the fencepost.

I officially opened Kasey Creative this morning at precisely 9:59am. Since then, 160 people have 'liked' my page. My goal for today? 30. Not joking.

I am completely humbled and filled with gratitude. Especially those who went out on a limb for me without me even asking them to - sharing and caring and showing me love... it means the world to me. Thank y'all for the encouragement and help. This has always been a little dream of mine and I am so excited to see the journey God allows me to take with it.

Southern Style Hitchin'

That's exactly how my husband, Ryan, and I got married. We got hitched.

When we sent our Save the Dates and Invitations out, people knew they were in for a good time. Down in Paris, Tennessee, we're all southern and halfway redneck whether we want to admit it or not, so a wedding in a barn sounds like a lot of fun to us. And it was.

Workin' on the Weekend...

This weekend has been spent WORKING HARD on my Etsy Shop. I posted 43 listings and I still have more to do! I am SO PROUD of getting that much done. I have a few more details I'd like to add here and there. I feel that next weekend will be a good time to really, really open!

I even got a new order today! It's so exciting to me to get orders from people who have confidence in me to design whatever it is they need. It's an amazing feeling.

A big shout out to my Mom who has been looking over everything and double checking things for me! It is a bigger help than you know! :) LOVE YOU!

Just Gettin' Started...

DO WHAT YOU LOVE & LOVE WHAT YOU DO...

I have always LOVED designing the cutesy things - invitations, announcements, personalized things. I'm finally starting my own side business where I have the opportunity to do just that! I have been patiently working on templates and designs since late last year. I've even had a couple of customers. Now, I am ready to dive in head first.

I wouldn't be able to do this without the love and support from 1) my AMAZING husband, Ryan 2) my WONDERFUL Mom & brother 3) my GREAT friends! Your support and little words of encouragement have truly given me the confidence I need to start this.
